Change management is a crucial factor in any project, especially in IT projects, where technological advances and innovations are constant. Successfully navigating through change is often the difference between a successful project and one that fails. Change can often be met with resistance, especially if it is not properly communicated and managed. Change management helps to minimize this resistance by creating acceptance and commitment among those affected by the change.

No matter how technology-driven a project is, there are always people who implement, use and benefit from the technological changes. Understanding and managing people's reactions and behaviors towards change is crucial.

In this event, we will go through different success factors for successfully implementing change, and help you understand how to manage people's reactions and behaviors towards technological changes. We will talk about how the agile methodology, as well as methods such as ADKAR can anchor the change process.

ADKAR is a well-known change management methodology that focuses on five key aspects: Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability and Reinforcement. By addressing each of these aspects, you can help people to progressively adapt to the change.

Daniel Södergård is an experienced change manager with experience in organizational change and restructuring from the public sector and business. Used to working closely with sponsors and management teams to support and drive through changes in their organization, especially focused on development and transformation within the organization.
